Hi guys, I’m here with another short tutorial for you. Today, I’ll show you how you can transform your Photo into a watercolor painting in Photoshop just in 5-10 min. So, let’s get started.

Have a look at the original image.

Step 1
Open the image on you want to apply watercolor painting effect in adobe Photoshop.

Now duplicate this image twice by going to Layer> Duplicate layer. Hide the 2nd copy layer, as we’ll apply a filter on copy1 first. Click on the first copy layer to select it then go to Filter> Artistic> Dry brush. Use the given settings here.
Once you are done, change its blending mode to ‘Linear Burn’.

Step 3
Now make the copy 2 visible and go to Filter> Artistic> Watercolor. Apply the given settings here.
Change the blending mode of this layer to ‘Soft Light’.

Step 4
Finally, duplicate copy 2 layer and change its blending mode to ‘Lighten’.

Step 5
You can increase the brightness of this image by going to Image> Adjustments> Brightness/Contrast. Use the given values here.
