Lomo Effect In Photoshop


In this Photoshop tutorial, we are going to produce the lomo effect in Photoshop CS5. The lomo effect is about adjusting the color contrast and color manipulation. It works best in images that are quite unexciting and ask for more. The lomo effect can be made in many different ways but the color balance in the end result is always one that is more eye catchy than the original picture.
1. Open whatever image you would like to work on in Photoshop. This is the image we will be using for this tutorial:
2. Now create an Adjustment layer and choose Curves. Then make the following changes:
3. Now create an Adjustment layer and choose Color balance. Then make the following changes:
4. Now create an Adjustment layer and choose Gradient Fill. Then make the following changes:
